Your new company

This company is a leading provider of infrastructure services, construction, and property development. They are committed to delivering sustainable solutions vital to communities across the UK. Your new role

You will support the environmental manager and team in a 6-month part-time contract. The role offers hybrid working around 20 hours a week, either full-time for 3 days or part-time for 5 days.

Main responsibilities include:

1. Improving environmental standards within the organisation and raising awareness of best practices
2. Contributing to environmental compliance assessments
3. Conducting site visits
4. Identifying opportunities to enhance sustainability practices
5. Supporting environmental issues such as waste management and decarbonisation
6. Attending team meetings

What you'll need to succeed

• A degree in an environmental field
• Ability to drive and willingness to travel to sites
• Basic environmental knowledge (sector-specific legislation not required)
• Computer literacy
• Excellent communication skills
