Job summary

BMS Engineering Ltd is seeking a Graduate Engineer in Coventry to gain hands‑on experience across CNC machining, fabrication, inspection and workshop operations. You will build a strong practical foundation for future design responsibilities within a small, high‑performance motorsport engineering team.

You will progress toward CAD modelling, tooling design, and FEMAP/FEA work as you advance, with a clear development pathway and mentorship from experienced engineers in a dynamic motorsport

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Motorsport, Manufacturing, or Automotive Engineering.
• Foundational CAD knowledge; experience with Siemens NX or Fusion 360 is advantageous.
• Hands-on mindset with willingness to learn across machining, fabrication and inspection.

Responsibilities

• CNC machining: set up, program, and operate equipment; develop efficient workflows.
• Fabrication & assembly: assist in chassis, roll cages and welded assemblies.
• Inspection & quality control: interpret drawings, apply GD&T, use CMM for verification.
• General workshop support: learn how processes link together in a small team.

CAD experience (NX, Fusion 360)

Education
