Zusammenfassung

AECOM is recruiting Highways & Traffic Graduate Engineers for Birmingham with a 2027 start. You will join a multidisciplinary team delivering safe, efficient transport designs across the UK & Ireland with structured training and live project exposure.

As you progress, you’ll gain experience across road design, traffic management, BIM and digital engineering, while working in a hybrid setup and collaborating with experienced engineers and clients.

Qualifikationen

• BEng or MEng in Civil/General Engineering with 2:1 (or equivalent).
• Genuine interest in highway engineering, transport and safe, efficient networks.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Good technical and report-writing skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication with colleagues and clients.
• Ability to structure and prioritise work and work both collaboratively and independently.

Aufgaben

• Support design development and technical solutions through project stages.
• Attend site visits, meetings and workshops with clients and design teams.
• Receive training in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Key Signs & Line, and Causeway Flow.
• Develop understanding of digital engineering and BIM processes.
• Take on increasing responsibility for project tasks and deliverables over time.
