About The Role
You’ll work collaboratively across Engineering, Programmes, Manufacturing, Quality and Supply Chain, developing your understanding of how complex aerospace products are delivered in a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment.
As you develop, you’ll have opportunities to take increasing ownership of project activities, support programme planning, manage technical requirements and contribute to solving engineering and delivery challenges.
Your Main Responsiblitlies
- Support the delivery of engineering and customer programmes from design through to manufacture and delivery.
- Work collaboratively with Engineering, Programmes, Manufacturing, Quality and Supply Chain teams.
- Support project planning, scheduling and tracking to help ensure key milestones are achieved.
- Assist with managing technical requirements, design changes, risks and project actions.
- Contribute to solving technical and project-related challenges through structured problem solving.
- Support programme reviews and provide clear updates on progress, risks and actions.
- Develop an understanding of project cost, quality, weight and lead-time drivers.
- Support compliance with customer, aerospace and regulatory requirements.
- Gain practical experience of how engineered products progress from concept and design through certification, manufacture and delivery.
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities and help identify opportunities to improve project and engineering processes.
- Build strong working relationships across Mirus and with relevant customers and suppliers.
About You
We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic graduate who is keen to develop both their technical engineering and project management skills.
You’ll Ideally Have
- A degree in an Engineering or related technical discipline.
- An interest in project or programme management within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- A good understanding of how engineered products are designed, developed, manufactured and delivered.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- An interest in technical requirements, design changes and product development.
- A willingness to learn about aerospace certification, compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The confidence to work collaboratively with different teams and contribute to technical discussions.
- A proactive, curious and solutions-focused approach.
Desirable
- Placement, internship or project experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Experience using project planning or engineering software.
- Exposure to New Product Introduction (NPI) or product development.
- An understanding of aerospace, automotive or another highly regulated engineering environment.
- Experience working on multidisciplinary university or industry projects.

Be eligible to work in the UK, comfortable commuting or being based in Hingham, Norfolk and work flexible hours required.
