Job summary

Stantec is offering a 2027 Graduate Programme in Birmingham for a Graduate Project Manager within our Energy team. You’ll balance technical learning with practical project delivery across the UK energy sector, supported by a 20-person Project Management discipline.

Core tasks include invoicing, meeting administration, cost controls, scheduling, and overseeing subcontractors. A minimum Bachelor’s degree and interest in energy are required, with a clear progression toward Chartered Project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Project/ Business Management or equivalent.
• Interest in the Energy sector and a professional qualification pathway.
• Graduate entry with a proactive and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Invoicing & financial support: assist with invoicing and tracking project spend.
• Meeting support: admin for project meetings, capturing minutes, tracking actions.
• Cost monitoring & estimating: assist with budget monitoring and initial estimates.
• Scheduling support: help create, maintain and track project schedules.
• Subcontractor management: coordinate third-party subcontractors to meet project needs.
