Responsibilities

• Join R&D and Manufacturing to work on electronic design for new products and upgrades and generate documentation.
• Contribute design input for CE compliance, power supply and analogue design, and mechanical housing considerations.
• Identify and undertake type testing to validate performance and inform design.
• Develop automated test processes for larger volume and new products with in-house staff or subcontractors.
• Support NPIs and manufacturing with technical issues as needed.

Graduate Electronics Engineer – Nottingham– LM1257c

Job Term: Full Time/Permanent

Job Outline:

My client, who is a leading manufacturer of specialist electronic equipment, now seeks a Graduate Electronics Engineer (MSc or PhD) to join their growing team based close to Nottingham.

The successful candidate will be a recent Electronics Graduate who is keen to get involved with all aspects of R&D, Manufacturing and Product development work.

Working within my clients R&D and Manufacturing facility, you will be involved with electronic design for both new products and improvements/upgrades to existing products as well generating associated documentation.

You will provide engineering input on new product design on a variety of aspects such as CE compliance, power supply design, analogue design and even mechanical aspects of product housing.

You will also identify and undertake a wide variety of type testing to validate performance and inform the design process.

In addition to this, you will help develop automated test processes for larger volume and new products, working with staff in-house, or sub-contractors, to embed new test procedures to improve product quality and reduce in process or goods-inward non-conformities

.

This role will cover NPI activities, supporting test & calibration when required, as well as supporting manufacturing with any technical issues etc.

This is a varied and interesting role that will allow the successful candidate to experience and develop within a dynamic and positive working environment.

The successful candidates should have the ability to design PCB from schematic capture, along with a good working knowledge of LTSPICE or other circuit simulation packages and a good working knowledge of MATLAB

Qualifications:
