ECM Selection in Nottingham seeks a graduate electronics engineer to join their custom engineering team. You will help specify, design and test custom electronic measurement equipment used across industries, from MOSFET testing to steel making, and contribute from client conversations to detailed circuit design and layout.
You will be part of an engineering team with opportunities to learn and develop, with on-site manufacturing and post-manufacture validation and testing.
This electronics company is growing and seeks graduate electronics engineers to join their custom engineering team. You will help specify, design and test custom electronic measurement equipment used in a wide variety of industries from MOSFET testing to iron and steel making. You will be involved in the full design process from initial client conversations through to detailed circuit design, simulation and layout. Manufacturing is carried out on-site by a separate team, but you can expect to be involved in post-manufacture validation and testing.
Additional knowledge of MATLAB, CAD packages, power electronics or instrumentation would be beneficial but are not required.
You will be working in an engineering team with deep expertise both to learn from and to help you develop your career. As this is a medium sized company, there will be variety in your role with custom engineering often collaborating with R&D and manufacturing teams. Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be on-site full-time.
