Job summary

Egis is recruiting a Graduate Electrical Engineer for its Rail Transportation division in Acton, West London. The role is part of our structured Graduate Programme, offering rotations through design, construction and delivery with on-site work at least 3 days a week.

You will join experienced engineers and project managers to gain hands-on experience on major rail projects including HS2 Track and Old Oak Common Station, while pursuing chartership and a 2:1 degree in Electrical or Electronic

Qualifications

• Expected to graduate with a minimum 2:1 degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Strong interest in rail and infrastructure projects and commitment to achieving professional chartership (e.g., IET, ICE).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced consultancy environment.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing project requirements and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and delivery of electrical engineering solutions for rail and infrastructure projects.
• Support project teams with technical analysis, drawings, and specifications.
• Contribute to safety, quality, and environmental compliance across all project stages.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including commercial, planning, and systems engineering.
• Engage in problem-solving and innovation to meet project challenges and sustainability goals.
