Job summary

Hoare Lea in London is seeking a 2027 Graduate Electrical Engineer to join one of the UK's largest building engineering consultancies. You will be exposed to all aspects of our work on varied live projects from day one, across healthcare, hotels, retail and residential sectors.

You'll produce electrical designs using Revit, Dialux, Relux and Electrical OM, undertake site surveys, and continuously develop through CPD with a mentor. The role offers flexible working and a clear path to Chartership.

Qualifications

• An expected or achieved 2.1 or above in an IET or CIBSE accredited degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or similar
• Excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently
• A friendly, ambitious and confident individual with a flexible and resilient approach

Responsibilities

• Working on live projects from day one – our exciting projects
• In a variety of sectors from healthcare to hotels, retail to residential
• Producing detailed designs and drawings for electrical circuits, wiring, and lighting
• Using the latest computer modelling software Revit, Dialux, Relux, and Electrical OM
• Undertaking site surveys
• Researching ground-breaking technologies
• Continuous CPD and learning opportunities
• Communicating will span all of these, as we regularly liaise with project teams, meet clients or end users, and attend collaborative meetings
