Job summary

Arup in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our Building Services team in Nottingham. You will work across design and delivery on power distribution, lighting, fire detection and earthing while developing through our IET-accredited graduate training scheme toward professional status.

You'll gain hands-on experience in Revit MEP, 3D design, and technical reporting, supported by a strong network across healthcare, science, industry and transport projects.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate/Bachelor's in Electrical or Architectural Engineering, Mechatronics/Robotics.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word; basic knowledge of building services.

Responsibilities

• Design power distribution, lighting, fire detection, earthing and lightning protection for buildings.
• Perform short circuit, overcurrent coordination and maximum demand studies.
• Produce lighting photometric models and technical reports.
• Work in 3D using Revit MEP and develop electrical calculations.
• Collaborate with architects and other engineers to evolve designs.

Education

Undergraduate / Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics / Robotics Engineering
