Job summary

RED is launching a graduate programme for engineers to shape the future of the built environment. You will gain hands-on experience in data center projects, work with seasoned engineers, and receive tailored support towards professional chartership. The role combines technical training with business skills in a hybrid setting.

Ideal candidates are recent graduates with a relevant engineering degree and a proactive, collaborative mindset seeking a developing career in building services design.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement of BSc/BEng (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Working towards Chartered Engineer status.
• Basic knowledge of BIM and engineering software.
• Understanding of Health & Safety legislation.
• Strong IT skills (MS Office, spreadsheets, calculations).
• Proactive, enthusiastic and organised approach, with a willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and delivery of real-world engineering projects.
• Benefit from structured training, mentoring, and support toward chartership.
• Explore emerging technologies and bring fresh ideas to live projects.
• Work with experienced engineers, project managers and clients across disciplines.
• Develop technical expertise using specialist engineering and design software.
