Job summary

SME Graduate Employment Ltd seeks a graduate engineer to design and develop electronic sub-systems for AC motor controllers used worldwide. You will work in a small R&D team across software, hardware and control engineering, with training provided on the job.

The role offers exposure to power electronics, embedded software, and cloud/web technologies, with a path to rapid professional growth and internal promotion opportunities as evidenced by prior graduates.

Qualifications

• Degree required: 1st or 2:1 in Electrical, Electronic, or Software Engineering.
• Knowledge of embedded firmware and hardware concepts is valued.
• Willingness to learn and work across hardware/software disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded firmware for 32-bit microcontrollers.
• Engage in schematic capture and PCB design.
• Perform design validation and integration testing.
