Job summary

Mansell Recruitment Group is seeking a Graduate Hardware / Embedded Engineer to join an innovative engineering team working on the design and development of advanced electronic products in the United Kingdom. You will work alongside experienced engineers, gaining hands-on experience across the full development process.

This role offers excellent training and development opportunities, exposure to both hardware and embedded software, and a collaborative working environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline (Minimum 2:1).
• Strong academic background with a genuine interest in electronics and embedded systems.
• Some knowledge of C programming would be advantageous.
• Knowledge or interest in robotics would be beneficial.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A willingness to learn and develop new technical skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic hardware for new products.
• Develop embedded software to run on electronic hardware.
• Work closely with electronic and mechanical engineers throughout the development process.
• Support the development, testing and refinement of new products.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
• Contribute to the design and development of innovative products from concept through to completion.
• Develop your knowledge across both hardware and embedded software.
• Maintain a strong focus on quality, reliability and performance.
• Work as part of a collaborative engineering team and contribute ideas for new and improved designs.
