Job summary

McLaren Automotive is recruiting a Graduate in Design Programmes to join the Design Studio at the McLaren Creative Centre in Bicester, Oxfordshire. You will support planning, coordination and delivery of automotive design programmes across disciplines, from initial brief to final delivery.

The role offers hands-on experience within a fast-paced Design Studio, with exposure to design development processes and cross-functional collaboration across creative and technical teams.

Qualifications

• Must have or be on track for a 2:1 in Design Management, Automotive Design, or related.
• Strong organisational and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication across disciplines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; PowerPoint and Excel preferred.
• Awareness of creative/digital design workflows.
• Willingness to learn and take ownership.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day management of automotive design programmes from brief to final delivery.
• Coordinate activities across Exterior, Interior, CMF, Visualisation, and other disciplines.
• Maintain project plans, timelines, milestones and deliverables.
• Organise design reviews, meetings and presentations with clear actions.
• Coordinate with designers, leadership, modellers and external suppliers.
• Support development and management of project briefs and deadlines.
• Monitor progress and highlight risks, issues and dependencies.
• Assist with project presentations and status updates for senior stakeholders.
• Support asset coordination and process improvements within the Design Studio.
