Job summary

McLaren Automotive Limited in Bicester hosts a two-year Design Modelling Graduate Scheme. You’ll rotate through digital modelling, manual modelling, and model production, working with designers, engineers and external suppliers to translate ideas into buildable studio models.

As a recent graduate, you’ll develop technical skills, project planning ability, and rich collaboration experience, contributing to 1:1 concept car builds and urgent deadlines onsite.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or Master’s in Automotive Design or related field.
• Strong portfolio showing digital and physical modelling work.
• Proficiency with digital modelling tools and practical making.

Responsibilities

• Assist digital modelling for concept vehicles and buildable assets.
• Support manual and physical modelling during phases.
• Coordinate with suppliers and project teams to manage timelines.
• Help manage model production and documentation for reviews.
