Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking graduates to work as Cover Supervisors across South Yorkshire. You’ll supervise classes in the absence of teachers, deliver pre-set work, and help students stay focused.

This role offers flexible, long-term opportunities with weekly PAYE pay and supporting CPD. Ideal candidates hold a degree and are keen to gain classroom experience before training as teachers, with ongoing support from a dedicated consultant and exposure to mainstream, SEND, and alternative

Qualifications

• A degree in any subject is acceptable for this role.
• Willingness to develop teaching-related skills through CPD training.
• Able to engage with students and manage groups effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes when the teacher is away.
• Deliver pre-set work and keep students on task.
• Maintain calm classroom behaviour and engagement.
