Job summary

Zest Education is seeking recent graduates to work as Cover Supervisors in Birmingham's secondary schools, delivering pre-prepared lessons and supervising classes during teacher absences.

Graduate Cover Supervisor - Secondary Schools

Location: Birmingham, North & South Birmingham

Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday

Contract: Full-time or Part-time | Agency / Supply Work

Are you a recent graduate looking to gain valuable experience working within secondary schools?

We are recruiting graduates who have completed their degree within the last 3 years to work as Cover Supervisors across secondary schools throughout North and South Birmingham.

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates considering a future career in teaching or education, or anyone looking to build their experience working with young people in a school environment.

The Role

• Supervise secondary school classes during teacher absences

Flexibility to Suit You

As this is agency-based work, you will have the opportunity to work across different secondary schools throughout North and South Birmingham.

We can offer:

• Full-time or part-time work
• Working days between Monday and Friday
• School hours of approximately 8:30am to 3:30pm
• Experience across a range of Birmingham secondary schools

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
