RLB invites applications for a Graduate Cost Manager to join our Birmingham team. The role sits within the Cost Management department and forms part of our structured Graduate Development Programme, designed to guide you toward RICS chartership while gaining exposure to diverse cost-management projects across sectors.

You will work on cost estimates, benchmarking, tender support, and cost reporting, with full training and mentoring provided. Hybrid working arrangements support work-life balance.

Competenze

• Requires a RICS-accredited degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or related discipline.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities are essential.
• Willingness to learn and progress within a consultancy environment.

Mansioni

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and cost plans.
• Assist with feasibility studies and benchmarking.
• Support tender and contract document preparation.
• Conduct cost analysis and value engineering.
• Monitor and report on project costs throughout the lifecycle.
• Assist with variations and change control valuations.
• Contribute to final accounts preparation.
• Engage with clients, contractors and design teams under supervision.
• Maintain accurate project records and data.
• Participate in internal and external project meetings.
• Support research, reporting and best-practice development.
