Rider Levett Bucknall in Cardiff is offering a Graduate Cost Manager position within our Future Professionals programme. You will gain hands-on project experience across cost management, supported by mentoring from chartered professionals to progress towards RICS chartership.

The structured two-year programme combines technical training with real project exposure, enabling you to develop cost estimation, benchmarking and value engineering skills while working in a collaborative, flexible hybrid

Qualifications

• RICS-accredited degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or related discipline.
• No prior technical experience required – full training and support provided.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets and cost plans.
• Support feasibility studies and benchmarking.
• Assist with tender and contract documents.
• Monitor costs and report on project costs.
• Engage with clients, contractors and design teams under supervision.
• Maintain accurate project records and data.
• Participate in project meetings and support research and reporting.
