You'll have the opportunity to turn data and ideas into practical solutions, helping the business make informed decisions and achieve measurable improvements.

The Role

Working alongside experienced colleagues, you'll help identify opportunities to improve how the business operates. You'll use data, problem-solving and collaboration to understand existing processes, identify inefficiencies and support the implementation of new ways of working.

  • Collecting, cleaning and validating data from different sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Supporting continuous improvement projects across Operations and Supply Chain.
  • Mapping existing processes and identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Analysing operational data to identify trends and areas where performance can be improved.

  • Documenting process changes and producing clear, practical work instructions.
  • Tracking the results of improvement projects and reporting on their impact.
What We're Looking For

This role is suited to a recent graduate who is keen to learn, enjoys solving problems and wants to make a practical difference within an engineering or manufacturing environment.

  • A recent degree in Business, Operations Management, Manufacturing or a related subject.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify patterns and draw conclusions from data.
  • A natural curiosity and the willingness to challenge existing processes by asking questions.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to explain findings and ideas clearly.
  • Confidence using Excel, Power BI or similar data analysis tools.
  • The ability to present information and project findings using tools such as Word and PowerPoint.
  • A proactive approach, with the motivation to learn, develop and work collaboratively.
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies would be beneficial, but it isn’t essential. Training and support will be available.
What's on Offer?
  • An excellent opportunity to launch your career in continuous improvement.
  • The chance to learn from experienced professionals and develop valuable technical and analytical skills.
  • Hands‑on involvement in projects that deliver measurable business improvements.
  • Exposure to Operations, Supply Chain, data analysis and process optimisation.
  • The opportunity to contribute fresh ideas and make a genuine impact.
  • A full-time, permanent position based at either Saffron Walden or Normanton.
