Job summary

Leonardo UK Ltd in Edinburgh is seeking a Graduate Continuous Improvement Engineer for a 12-month programme focused on Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen to enhance productivity and cut waste. You’ll work with cross-functional teams and gain exposure to both manufacturing and process improvement.

The package includes a starting salary of £34,000 per annum, plus a £1,000 welcome bonus and potential for a £1,000 exit bonus on completion, with possible Temporary Accommodation Allowance (TAA) based on

Qualifications

• 2:2 Bachelor’s/Integrated Master’s degree or higher (MSc/PhD) in Engineering or related field.
• Excellent facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into insights.

Responsibilities

• Design electronic production layouts using Lean tools to improve productivity.
• Facilitate cross-functional improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen.
• Analyse workflows and data to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for optimisation.
• Assist with workshops and training sessions to upskill teams in CI tools and techniques.
• Develop an embedded culture of CI in manufacturing and track KPI performance.
• Ensure sustainability of changes implemented.
