Job summary

Worley in the UK is launching a 2027 Graduate Programme for Construction. You will join as a Graduate Engineer, split between Civil/Structural or Mechanical/Piping, and gain hands-on experience from design through to construction, commissioning and handover across London and Manchester.

You will complete a structured two-year development plan with mentors and site exposure, preparing you for a long-term career in construction and project delivery within a global energy engineering organisation.

Qualifications

• Accredited bachelor’s or master's in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2:1 honours degree.
• Interest in construction, project delivery and site-based operations.
• Willingness to travel and work across project sites and offices in the UK.
• Strong communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive learner with professional development mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support Construction teams in planning, coordination and delivery of major projects.
• Develop designs and technical deliverables from concept through to construction within Civil/Structural or Mechanical/Piping.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, project management and Construction teams to support design through to handover.
• Gain understanding of construction planning, fabrication and site execution.
• Assist with construction strategies, methods and scoping.
• Learn FEED and EPC/EPCM execution models, modularisation and advanced work packaging.
• Support construction schedules, sequencing and commissioning priorities.
• Assist contract and workforce planning using advanced work packaging systems.
• Assist planning of temporary site facilities and services.
