Job summary

Centrica plc is launching a two-year Graduate Commodity Trading Analyst programme designed to develop you quickly through three eight-month placements across trading, gas, power, origination and risk.

You’ll work with experienced specialists to tackle real-world business challenges from day one and gain exposure to multiple teams, with rotations including an outside-front-office placement and opportunities for international assignments.

Qualifications

• We’re excited to hear from graduates with strong numeracy and commercial awareness.
• You’ll have a minimum 2:1 degree and a master’s in a numerical subject.
• Experience using programming and analytical techniques to build models and derive insights.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured two-year programme with three eight-month placements.
• Work with experienced specialists across trading and related functions.
• Contribute to commodity contracts and trading strategies that drive business value.
• Learn through hands-on learning and formal training to build technical and behavioural skills.
