Job summary

Babcock offers a Civil and Structural Engineering Graduate Programme at Devonport, Plymouth. You will rotate between technical design, facilities management and project management, gaining broad exposure to engineering challenges on site and in the design office.

Over two years you will receive structured mentorship and masterclasses, work toward Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status, and progress into a Civil and Structural Engineer role with clear development pathways.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Security clearance requirements BPSS, SC and NNPI where applicable.
• UK national status may be required for eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Produce technical drawings, models and reports for projects.
• Carry out structural analysis using appropriate tools (FEA).
• Assess asset condition through detailed site surveys.
• Contribute to design modifications and support new build projects.
• Work across the full design lifecycle from requirements to through-life support.
