MHB Consultants Ltd. in Edinburgh is seeking a graduate engineer to work with experienced engineers on design and analysis projects, both on site and off site, helping you build skills and independence.

You will assist in preparing designs, calculations, drawings and reports, support fee/tender proposals, attend site visits, and learn to apply relevant design codes while developing your professional track toward Incorporated or Chartered status.

Competenze

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ICE or IStructE-accredited course.
A 2:1 (or equivalent) degree classification or above.
Demonstrate commitment to continuous professional development toward Incorporated or Chartered status.

Mansioni

Assist in the development of designs, calculations, and reports.
Support the preparation of technical drawings and specifications.
Assist in the preparation of fee/tender proposals.
Attend site visits and surveys (under supervision).
Learn to apply relevant design codes and standards (e.g., British Standards, Eurocodes).
Engage in training and professional development activities.
Support senior engineers in project planning, execution, and documentation.
Work to project timelines, budgets, and communication with Project Managers.
