Job summary

STRABAG UK is seeking a Graduate Engineer to support the Haweswater Aqueduct Resilience Programme (HARP) in the North West of England. You will collaborate with experienced engineers to develop practical, safe engineering solutions and assist with project documentation and site activities.

The role offers exposure to routeways, shaft construction, planning, and design activities across the project lifecycle, with a focus on collaborative delivery and adherence to standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of HARP, working alongside experienced engineers within your allocated team.
• Provide day-to-day engineering support to senior engineers and other members of the project team.
• Support the preparation, review and maintenance of technical documents, drawings, reports and project records.
• Attend site visits and support construction teams by helping to resolve technical queries and communicate relevant engineering information.
• Monitor project progress, assist with identifying potential issues and help ensure works are delivered in line with project requirements, relevant standards and regulations.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, contractors and other project stakeholders to support the safe and efficient delivery of the works.
• Develop technical knowledge and practical skills through involvement in engineering activities across the project lifecycle.
