Job summary

Kier Group is offering a two-year Graduate Civil Engineer Scheme in the UK with placements across Oxford, Chipping Warden and Aylesbury. The programme starts September 2027, with 26 days holiday and a 24/7 wellbeing support programme.

The starting salary is £31,000, with potential car allowance depending on eligibility and project assignment. The 2-year permanent scheme leads to an assistant level role with a salary potential around £38k.

Qualifications

• Must have or be working towards an ICE-accredited Civil Engineering degree.
• Demonstrates analytical and critical thinking to assess situations and solve problems.
• Works effectively as part of a team and communicates clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and managing project designs, plans and specifications.
• Support development and monitoring of project schedules and budgets.
• Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to resolve technical issues and ensure project success.
• Prepare technical reports and provide project updates.
