Job summary

Groundforce Shorco is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our technical shoring team in Morley, Leeds. You will produce preliminary and construction stage designs, create drawings in AutoCAD and Revit, and collaborate with sales, operations and other technical teams to deliver projects within time and budget.

The role reports to the Design Manager and offers training and development in a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering (BSc, BEng or MEng, 2:1 or above).
• Exposure to engineering mathematics and Rankine’s theory is desirable.
• Familiarity with Eurocodes 3 and 7 is desirable.
• Knowledge of retaining wall design and structural/stress mechanics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Produce preliminary and construction stage designs for shoring projects.
• Create design drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Assist other technical teams as needed to support workload.
• Collaborate with sales and operations to ensure timely, on-budget project delivery.
• Contribute to development of new tools and in-house design software.
