Job summary

Tractebel is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer–Nuclear based in Bristol, UK. The role focuses on design and analysis of nuclear structures for HPC/SZC projects, with a UK entity supporting global collaborations.

You will work on seismic and blast resilience, FEM analyses, and coordination with clients, contractors, and project teams. The programme offers training, mentorship, and progression opportunities within a dynamic, multicultural team.

Qualifications

• Passionate about engineering and nuclear industries.
• Currently studying or have obtained their degree no later than 2026.
• Willing to work in Bristol, UK for a UK entity of global engineering company.

Responsibilities

• Learn to perform structural design of new build nuclear structures, including seismic and blast scenarios.
• Develop skills to analyze structures using FEM software.
• Coordinate and communicate complex engineering problems among project stakeholders.
• Provide analysis and respond to queries from construction sites.
• Coordinate transfer of design information to reinforcement detailers.
• Develop strong relationships and collaborate with clients and stakeholders.
