Job summary

Tractebel, part of the ENGIE Group, is seeking motivated Civil Engineers to support the design of the HPC and SZC nuclear powerplants in the UK. You will apply civil expertise to deliver projects in collaboration with clients, contractors and our project teams.

Based in Bristol, you will join a multidisciplinary, highly regulated environment with opportunities for career growth, trainings within ENGIE, and a competitive salary with a 28-day holiday allowance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master's degree in civil/structural engineering.
• Working towards or Chartered with ICE/IStructE.
• Experience in reinforced concrete calculation and design.
• Familiar with Eurocodes and British Standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete structural design of new build nuclear structures (seismic/blast).
• Coordinate complex engineering problems with project stakeholders.
• Provide technical review and respond to site queries for HPC.
• Develop reinforcement detailing with detailers and check drawings.
• Build strong client and stakeholder relationships.
