Job summary

Dragados UK & Ireland is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to become a key member of the team, reporting directly into the Project Manager/Senior Project Manager to assist with delivery of the scheme.

You will engage with both contestable and non-contestable works, attend meetings, understand the works programme, and perform site visits to record progress and compliance while escalating issues as needed.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BEng in Civil Engineering.
• Working toward membership of a relevant professional body (Member/Associate).
• Commitment to innovation, development and continuous improvement in project delivery.
• Integrity and ethical conduct of professionals on all sites and interactions.

Responsibilities

• Consider Health, Safety, Welfare & Environmental issues with all activities.
• Attend and contribute to regular meetings, recording minutes and actions.
• Understand the works programme and assist with delivery.
• Have a technical understanding of issued for construction drawings.
• Undertake site visits, recording progress, quality and compliance, escalating issues.
• Assist with recording compliance for design and construction activities.
• Undertake discrete tasks for the Project Manager/Senior Project Manager, delivering to required timeframes.
