Job summary

The Oyster Partnership is recruiting for a Graduate Engineer/Assistant Engineer/Junior Project Engineer to join a Local Authority project in Buckinghamshire. You will work with experienced engineers to support highways and infrastructure schemes from inception to completion, with structured training and mentoring to develop technical expertise.

Qualifications

Degree, HNC, HND or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Ambitious and keen to learn and develop a long-term career in engineering.

Responsibilities

Assist with the delivery of highways and civil engineering projects.
Support project planning, coordination, and reporting activities.
Liaise with contractors, stakeholders, consultants, and clients.
Help monitor project programmes, budgets, and risks.
Assist with the preparation of technical documents and project reports.
Support site visits, inspections, and project meetings where required.
Learn and develop an understanding of project management best practices.
