Job summary

Stantec invites applications for a Graduate Civil Engineer in our Gloucester office, joining a collaborative Buildings discipline. You’ll assist with drainage and external works design, support SuDS strategies, and develop drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, InfoWorks and MicroDrainage.

You’ll grow under experienced engineers, contribute to diverse projects across education, data centre, defence and leisure sectors, and work toward ICE accreditation as you progress in your career with a robust

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in BEng Civil Engineering is essential.
• Knowledge of AutoCad, Civil3D, InfoWorks and Microdrainage is beneficial.
• Interest in the Buildings sector and engineering professional registration with ICE encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assist with drainage and external works design across all RIBA stages.
• Support drainage strategies and SuDS solutions for South West projects.
• Produce drawings and models using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, InfoWorks and MicroDrainage.
• Prepare drainage reports, specifications and planning/regulatory submissions.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers to develop sustainable civil solutions.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary projects in university, education, data centre, defence and leisure sectors.
• Attend project meetings and site visits to understand requirements and constraints.
• Engage in mentoring and CPD to work towards ICE professional registration.
