Job summary

Stantec is inviting graduates to join the Cambridge office as a Graduate Civil Engineer on a structured autumn intake. You will contribute to residential and commercial design projects, supported by a collaborative team and an emphasis on sustainable infrastructure.

You will work on feasibility through construction stages, applying AutoCAD and Civil 3D, with opportunities to grow towards professional accreditation and chartership within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Interest in infrastructure and community development.
• Willingness to learn across disciplines and collaborate with a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with technical input into a variety of projects.
• Design work for residential and commercial schemes using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Produce calculations, analyses and inspections through feasibility to construction.
• Support risk assessments and risk management on projects.
• Assist in preparing reports, bids and proposals.
• Provide technical guidance to the project team.
• Attend client and cross-discipline meetings.
