Job summary

Amey is offering a Civil Engineer Graduate role based in Bristol as part of the SBIM team. The scheme includes a two-year graduate pathway with mentoring, development opportunities and a guaranteed permanent position on completion.

The starting salary is £30,000 per annum, with a structured program and support toward professional qualifications. The role covers numerical analysis, bridge inspections, and developing innovative inspection techniques.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:2 degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Undertake numerical analysis and assessment calculations to determine the structural load carrying capacity of a variety of structures.
• Propose strengthening and maintenance options.
• Plan and undertake bridge inspections to confirm structural details and condition.
• Develop innovative solutions to enhance inspection and technical capabilities.
• Prepare technical drawings and reports.
