Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc is offering a Graduate Apprentice Civil Engineer place on its 2027 Early Careers programme in Scotland. You will be mentored by experienced colleagues, gain hands-on experience on major infrastructure projects, and study for a Graduate Apprenticeship in BEng (Hons) Civil Engineering while working across site and office environments.

You will join the UKCS - Regional Scotland team, contribute to Civils works for substation builds, and benefit from structured performance

Qualifications

• A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive and eager to start a civil engineering career.
• Strong teamwork and clear communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of major infrastructure projects across site and office environments.
• Assist with planning, design and construction activities through to handover.
• Work with experienced engineers to develop technical and professional skills.
