Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• Understanding of core engineering principles.
• Good communication, organisation and IT skills.
• Interest in rail infrastructure and engineering design.
• Experience with civil/rail/infrastructure projects and CAD/engineering design software is advantageous.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Live within commutable distance to Rotherham office.

Responsibilities

• Assist with civil and structural designs for rail infrastructure projects.
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications and design documentation.
• Produce and review drawings, ensuring compliance with standards and Eurocodes.
• Support design coordination, technical reviews and project submissions.
• Attend site visits, surveys and inspections as required.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Contribute to delivering projects on time, within budget and to required quality.
