Job summary

Aon is launching the Catastrophe Modelling - 2027 Graduate Programme in London. You will work with a multidisciplinary analytics team to learn data preparation, model execution and interpretation for client insights.

The programme develops core skills in SQL, Python, data pipelines and advanced analytics, with exposure to AI-enabled tools and a Go Further apprenticeship pathway to support professional qualifications.

Qualifications

• 2:1 degree in mathematics/statistics, finance/economics, sciences/technology, or similar quantitative field.
• Interest in data, analytics and digital tools; exposure to Python or R is useful.
• Open to PhD or Master’s graduates or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, interpret and quality-check client exposure, insurance and claims data.
• Run catastrophe models to quantify likelihood and impact of events.
• Analyse model outputs and translate results into client-focused insights.
• Evaluate data quality, assumptions, and inputs; determine need for expert review.
• Coordinate analytical tasks and prepare presentations for stakeholders.
