Job Description:

Multinational Trading Company based in London, offering excellent benefits and hybrid working, seeks a Graduate Business Analyst with experience working directly in the energy industry, preferably Steel or Oil and Gas sectors.

To be considered, you must have the following essential experience:

• Full right to work in the UK
• Ideally gained 1-2 years’ experience working for an energy company, particularly Oil & Gas, Steel, or similar trading company
• Degree in business or a technical discipline, or qualified by experience
• Flexibility to travel
• Language skills: English fluent; Japanese would be beneficial but not essential
• Good understanding of business processes (administrative, operational, corporate, and IT systems)
• Good understanding of procurement and logistics
• Good understanding of QAQC, HSSE, Risk Management, and legal implications on business
• Sound understanding of the Steel or/and Oil and Gas industries

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

• Support sales, business operations, logistics, contract management, and execution for other business accounts
• Assist in preparation for global price negotiations and strategic meetings between the firm, customers, and steel companies
• This entry-level role provides exposure to all aspects of the business, including contract management and supply chain
