Job summary

Theodore Harrison Ltd is seeking a Graduate Building Surveyor in Liverpool to join a well-established, client-focused consultancy. You will work under Chartered Building Surveyors across design, contract administration and refurbishment projects, gaining hands-on experience.

You will progress skills in AutoCAD, surveys and planning, with a strong development path and supportive team, in a flexible and rewarding environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in a professional consultancy environment
• Working towards MRICS
• A track record of running small projects
• A strong academic record and the ability to pick things up quickly

Responsibilities

• Getting hands-on with AutoCAD for design and drawing work
• Developing feasibility studies and budget costings
• Preparing scheme designs, specifications of works and tender documentation
• Supporting contract administration from inception through to completion
• Undertaking building surveys, recording condition, identifying and analysing defects, and preparing repair proposals
• Surveying buildings and producing planned preventative maintenance schedules
• Processing planning applications
• Working closely alongside Chartered Building Surveyors to develop your technical and client-facing skills
