Overview

Graduate Building Surveyor position supporting professional and project building surveying instructions across a mixed property portfolio. The role provides structured development towards MRICS while building experience across surveys, technical reporting and project delivery. Hybrid working includes up to two home-working days each week. Permanent, full-time position.

The Role

• Support delivery of professional and project building surveying instructions
• Assist experienced surveyors with client commissions from initial instruction through to reporting and completion
• Undertake site inspections and surveys under appropriate supervision
• Prepare technical reports, schedules and supporting documentation
• Support project delivery against agreed programmes and budgets
• Gain exposure to client meetings and project stakeholder discussions
• Work across multidisciplinary commissions involving building surveying, project management and cost management
• Assist with identifying additional service requirements arising from existing instructions
• Develop practical understanding of commercial, technical and contractual risk
• Work through a structured development programme towards professional chartership

Candidate Requirements

• Degree in Building Surveying or a closely related discipline
