Our client is an established building and project consultancy providing professional advice across building surveying, project management and a broad range of property and construction services.
With a strong focus on delivering practical, commercially minded advice, the business works across a varied client portfolio and prides itself on a personal, client-focused approach. The Manchester team is continuing to grow and is looking for an ambitious Building Surveyor who wants to broaden their experience, take on greater responsibility and build a long-term career within a growing consultancy.
Working as part of a close-knit Manchester team and reporting directly to a Director, you will be involved across a varied portfolio of building surveying and project work. Projects range from approximately £10,000 through to £1 million, giving you exposure to everything from smaller maintenance and repair projects through to larger refurbishment and capital works.
The role will cover a broad range of building surveying responsibilities, with the opportunity to develop your experience across condition surveys, defect diagnosis, refurbishment, façade and cladding work, contract administration and project delivery.
You will work closely with clients, contractors and consultants while developing your technical and commercial experience within a supportive consultancy environment. For the right person, there is clear scope to take on greater responsibility and progress your career as the business continues to grow.
The majority of the work will be across the North West, with occasional travel to London and the rare overnight stay. The role is based from the Manchester office, with hybrid working available, although there is a preference for approximately three days per week in the office.
This role would suit an ambitious Building Surveyor looking for a long-term opportunity with genuine progression, whether already RICS qualified or working towards their qualification.
We welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds, experiences, and identities.
Our recruitment process is designed to ensure equal opportunities for all candidates.
Please Note: Due to high volume of applicants, only those shortlisted will be contacted.
