Amey in Bristol is offering a Graduate Bridges and Civil Structures Engineer role with a starting salary of £31,000 and a September 2027 start date. You will work within our consulting team on projects with major clients across the UK, developing practical, sustainable solutions in bridges and civil structures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Civil or Structural Engineering – Minimum Grade 2:1.
• Interest in bridges / civil structures.
• Commitment to sustainable development.

Responsibilities

• Be part of an experienced team, working on exciting UK and international projects.
• Help develop practical, sustainable solutions for bridges and civil structures; from investigation to optioneering, feasibility, concept and detailed design, construction supervision and asset management.
• Undertake structural analysis, design and assessment calculations.
• Develop carbon and cost estimates, 3D models, drawings and technical documents.
• Assist with bridge inspections, investigations, structural health monitoring, and supervision of works.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of data, analytics and digital technology solutions.
