Arup in Newcastle is seeking a Graduate - Bridge and Civil Structures Engineer to contribute to UK and international bridge projects. You’ll join a team of professionals, develop practical design solutions, and progress toward professional accreditation with ICE or IStructE while learning our software and design tools.

From day one you’ll work on concept through detailed design, with opportunities to explore digital skills, data analytics and automation, supporting innovation across transport

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering.
• Analytical mindset with focus on technical excellence.
• Interest in digital skills and design automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in bridge and civil structures design tasks under supervision.
• Contribute to calculations, models and specifications for projects.
• Support assessment, refurbishment, and construction planning of bridge crossings.
