Job summary

Arup in London is seeking graduates to join the Bridges and Civil Structures team. You’ll be assigned to a project under a Senior Engineer, learn the software and tools, and contribute to design tasks from day one.

You’ll develop digital skills, from coding to data analytics, while strengthening core civil engineering competences. The role offers flexible working, learning opportunities, and a collaborative, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in relevant academic discipline, such as Civil Engineering and Structural Engineering.
• Strong numerical skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• An analytical thought process and problem-solving ability.
• Interest in developing digital skills and coding for design automation.

Responsibilities

• Work on a project under the direction of a Senior Engineer who will assign design tasks and provide guidance.
• Assist with calculations, models and specifications across bridge and civil structures projects.
• Learn and apply software/tools developed by Arup to support project delivery.
