Job summary

AECOM is seeking ambitious Civil & Structural Engineering graduates to contribute to design and assessment of bridge structures on local, national or international projects. You will work across concept design to implementation, with mentoring and training throughout the Graduate Development Programme.

Successful candidates will develop technical skills in structural design, inspection, and project management while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams on live client projects worldwide.

Qualifications

• BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering with a 2:1 or above.
• MEng or MSc in Civil or Structural Engineering would be an advantage.
• Ability to demonstrate a good technical understanding of Civil & Structural Engineering.
• Demonstrable interest in Bridge Structures Engineering and developing a career in this industry.
• Willing and able to work towards chartership with ICE or IStructE.
• Good Microsoft Office skills such as Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Graduates will contribute to the design of structures from inception to completion.
• Assist in the assessment of existing structures across various project stages.
• Support resources and tasks within a scheme of structures.
• Collaborate with team members, clients and sub-contractors.
• Engage in on-the-job technical development and mentoring.
