Job summary

AECOM is seeking ambitious Civil and Structural Engineering graduates for its Bridges and Structures teams. You will work on projects from concept design to implementation for local, national and international clients, contributing to technically challenging work.

Qualifications

• BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering with 2:1 or above.
• MEng/MSc in Civil/Structural Engineering would be an advantage.
• Structural modules or Bridge Engineering experience would be an advantage.
• Ability to demonstrate a good technical understanding of Civil & Structural Engineering.
• Demonstrable interest in Bridge Structures Engineering and developing a career in this industry.
• Willing and able to work towards chartership with ICE or IStructE.
• Good Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to communicate effectively to clients and stakeholders; strong written and verbal skills.
• Enthusiastic, hard-working, with ambition and drive.

Responsibilities

• Use industry-leading software on a variety of bridge projects.
• Contribute to design from concept through to delivery.
• Undertake assessment and renewal feasibility studies for bridge structures.
• Assist with on-site works supervision and scheme management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality results.
