Mott MacDonald Bentley is seeking a BIM Technician to join a design-and-build team and deliver CAD/BIM outputs across projects. You will develop 3D models, support clash resolution, and help maintain BIM data using Autodesk BIM 360 throughout the project lifecycle.

You will contribute to a standard BIM element library, ensure cyber security of CAD/BIM data, and collaborate with designers to balance time, cost and quality while mentoring junior technicians.

Formación

• Degree in Engineering or Computer Science with CAD/BIM or related field.
• Knowledge of CAD & modelling software and BIM management tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civils 3D, Plant 3D, ACC, BIM360.
• Understanding of ISO 19650 information management principles.
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively.
• Adaptable to changing processes and technologies; understands program, budget and quality requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver CAD/BIM design data and perform quality control on outputs.
• Use 3D modelling to support design collaboration, clash resolution, and data capture.
• Support the common data environment platform (Autodesk BIM 360) and manage BIM data across the lifecycle.
• Create and develop a standardised BIM element library for model reuse and low-carbon solutions.
• Ensure cyber security of CAD/BIM data and access control.
• Validate CAD/BIM models from suppliers and integrate into the project models.
• Work with designers to balance time, cost and quality, and mentor junior BIM technicians as needed.
• Utilise MM’s global design services and contribute to multidisciplinary projects.
