Job summary

RSM UK invites graduates to join its External Audit graduate programme. You’ll work with audit colleagues on risk-focused reviews of clients’ financial records, processes, and controls, ensuring accuracy of statements and building stakeholder trust.

You’ll begin studying for the Chartered Accountant qualification soon after joining, with exams in the initial months and continued support along the way.

Qualifications

• UCAS points criteria: 112 across three A levels (or 104 across four Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers) or Irish Leaving Certificate.
• Honours degree (predicted or obtained).
• Right to live and work in the UK for this role.
• Effective written and verbal communication to convey complex information clearly.
• Ability to analyse and interpret data to solve problems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with strong organisational and time-management abilities.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and other offices as required.

Responsibilities

• Work with audit colleagues to conduct risk-focused reviews of clients’ financial records, processes, and controls.
• Help ensure the accuracy of financial statements and build trust and confidence among stakeholders.
• Start studying towards the Chartered Accountant qualification as soon as you join, with first exams in the early months.
• Be involved from day one, progressing to taking on individual responsibility for projects.
