Are you a recent finance or accounting graduate looking to kick-start your career in a supportive and progressive finance team? We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Assistant Management Accountant to join our organisation on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the potential to transition into a permanent role. This role is ideal for someone who is ambitious, analytical, and eager to learn, and who is looking to study towards a professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including accruals, and journal entries.
• Process expenses claim’s for all staff.
• Support the preparation of financial reports and analysis for management review.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Provide support during internal and external audits.
• Maintain and update the fixed asset register.
• Assist in the preparation of VAT returns and other regulatory filings.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Great understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
